The Purpose of The Triumvirate
Greetings young traveler. So I hear that you wish to learn the reason The Triumvirate was formed. That is a question rooted far in the past and begins with our founding fathers, Gerrad, Marhault and Eladamri. For a detailed explanation read The Scroll of History. Basically the we serve two distinct yet very important purposes here in Taera.
The first and original reason the Triumvirate was formed was to but an end to these blasted wild zones that have a way to keep taking form in our home land. Our founding fathers believed in the existence of The Sword of Chaos and put an end to what ever evil still exists causing these wild zones to manifest themselves. The three who formed us disappeared trying to find this artifact. It is our duty to make sure their death was not in vain.
The second reason is perhaps just as important. We are the protectors of this world we call home. We strive to make peace among the three races which compose us. So that every elf, dwarf, and human can live together in peace. We never want an event like the Annihilation to ever happen again. We want to work towards a better world for all the inhabitants of Taera.
For these to reasons The Triumvirate came into existence. If you where looking for a guild to achieve global domination you picked the wrong one. Any of the above named races may join us if they agree to help us achieve these to goals and to obey the rules which our founding fathers had set. I look forward to joining forces with you my young friend and putting an end to the evil which plagues our world.
