Panumbra is a free graphical, on-line multi-player fantasy role-playing game. Panumbra is the first of the free games on the Shareplay multi-player online gaming service.  More on what is Panumbra. Panumbra is never "done", but continually evolves.  We already have the demo ready, and the next release, version 2.1 is scheduled to be released in mid July, 1998. What goes in later, you, our players will have a say in too! Play now from the Play Demo page News and announcements 6/24/98, Wednesday We have a version of the 2.0 client which works with Internet Explorer 4.0 and 4.01. You can use them now from the play demo page! The server design change in version 2.1 is completed and we continue with system testing.  Version 2.1 release date looks like mid July.  I updated the schedule page to reflect changes. 5/14/98 I sent a new Newsletter today.  Read it!  Highlights: Panumbra 2.1 will run under Internet Explorer 4.0. The 2.1 development is behind schedule by one week.
