Benjamin is a third generation Champaign resident and has been playing video games since he was 4 — Started on an Atari and Texas Instruments. In 1996 he got his start in the gaming industry in working for Shareplay here in Champaign. There he worked on Space Merchant, Panumbra, and Monarchy. A graduate from the University of Illinois, Benjamin has his BS in Philosophy with a minor in Cinema Studies. After graduation he spent 4 years as an Admissions Officer for the Graduate College at the UofI. He has been working for Volition in Quality Assurance since 2007.
